Miroslav Boljević (1990–) is a Christian artist exploring themes of gratitude and perseverance.

Born into a war-torn, Adriatic region, he was named The One Who Celebrates Peace [Miroslav]. Determined to seek peace through creativity, he made his public debut at eight and joined a group exhibition by twelve. After studying Visual Arts in Montenegro and the U.S., he earned a Master’s in Design from the University for the Creative Arts (UK), grounding his work in structured motifs.

Miroslav expresses best through large canvases and sculptures, where materials and scale amplify emotion. His minimalist, abstract practice incorporates unconventional, custom-made tools and foraged pigments.

Central to his faith-based work are four non-negotiable core principles: quality, sustainability, integrity, and solidarity. These values shape creative decisions, ensuring each piece holds meaning and upholds ethical standards. At least 10% of profits are returned to the community, reinforcing his commitment to social responsibility.

Principles

Quality

To ensure longevity, archival high-grade media are used. The artwork is sealed with a varnish that minimises colour fade and provides dust and scratch protection.

Sustainability

Chosen with the environment in mind, these pure linen canvases are framed on sustainably sourced stable spruce, handmade in the European Union.

Integrity

Each artwork is one-of-a-kind, with no intention of producing any giclées, posters or other commercial mass reproductions that could compromise its long-term integrity.

Solidarity

A minimum of 10% of all profits goes towards community development and meaningful projects that support the people in our midst.

In its purest form, art is gratitude for what compelled us to pursuit it.
